Seven o' clock. On my way to the subway. Don't need my free newspaper anymore. I enter the arrived train with a smile. Only thing that bothers me is that it only takes me 20 minutes to get to work. Why? 20 minutes of scribbling is way too short! What the fuck i'm talking about? CLICK!
It started like 3 months ago. My little sister (23 years old ;)) came over for some chit-chat. She also brought her new nintendo DS. The machine that now changed my morning routine, but i wasn't convinced immediately.
There simply wasn't a game that i liked. Meteos is an ok game, but it wasn't what i hoped for. 2 weeks later my sister came over again telling me about this game 'Scribblenauts.' She asked me if i could get this game for her on ebay, but it wasnt released yet. So we got on youtube and checked out the E3 video and after seeing that video, it became clear to me that i would be punishing myself if i didn't buy a nintendo DS.

Logged on to ebay and got myself a killer deal in China and after 10 days my doorbell rang. There he was, finally, the maroc-package-delivery-guy. So there i sat, with my new DS. But without Scribblenauts. All i had to do was wait, and so i did.
On 14 september 2009 the news came. 4PLaY told me Scribblenauts had been released! I would have kissed him if he sat next to me, so im guessin' he's glad he told me on the lkff forum.
Ofcourse i got the game immediately and for once my little sister gave me advice about what game to play instead of the other way around. And this advice was like a triple airrocket! Scribblenauts is a game that i can't describe. Here's a snippet from the Scribblenauts wiki:
The objective of Scribblenauts, as implied by its catchphrase ''Write Anything, Solve Everything'', is to complete puzzles to collect ''Starites'', helped by the player's ability to summon objects out of a database of tens of thousands by writing an object's name on the touchscreen. The game is considered by its developers to help promote emergent gameplay by challenging the player to solve its puzzles within certain limitations or through multiple unique solutions.

Sounds like fun right? I can tell you it IS! If you own a nintendo DS this game is a MUST-have. And if you don't own a nintendo DS; maybe you will get one in a couple of days after seeing the video that started it all for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3HXgvl8lp0

Doet me denken aan die floppies van
vroeger van Larry oid (welke altijd
vol met virussen zaten). Fun.

prismatje mee :P
